The mental health impact of having both your passion and your livelihood ripped away from you is yet to be fully understood.

Are you working from home or living at work?

I love working from home, but I’m really looking forward to getting back into the office more regularly.

Long live live and long live virtual

I was always a little hesitant about attending networking evenings before – I’m the typical ‘behind the scenes’ kind of person.

PR for 11th Hour

11th Hour is a Cardiff-based supplier of technical services to the entertainment and events industry, offering stage structures, lighting, sound and AV as well as specialising in providing ice rinks for councils and venues around the UK.

Collaborative Creations worked with 11th Hour at the end of 2019 to put together PR materials promoting the company’s ice rinks and work on Cardiff Winter Wonderland.

11th Hour were providing a number of services to the organiser of Cardiff Winter Wonderland, which included aspects such as flooring, fencing and bespoke signage in addition to the ice rink at the centre of the attraction.

The Collaborative Creations team travelled to Cardiff on multiple occasions to meet with the 11th Hour team and gain a comprehensive understanding of the business and the promotional opportunities surrounding the Winter Wonderland.

One unique aspect of the service was the ice rink’s bespoke alpine trail, which wound through the trees of the city’s Gorsedd Gardens. A press release detailing the features of the 250m trail was published in trade magazines Stand Out and Access All Areas.

As the Winter Wonderland launched in November, ready to run over the Christmas period, the Collaborative Creations team invited the Editor of Stand Out magazine to come and experience the attraction and interview an 11th Hour Director.

The resulting feature was a fantastic four-page spread in the print edition of the magazine.
